Day 19

Cape Lookout State Park, OR—Last night and this morning we spent a lot of time at the beach making sand castles, except cooler. When we make our sand castles we use a technique called dribbling, where you mix sand with water and then drizzle it into mountain-like shapes. We made an entire village, and had a competition to see who could build the highest mountain (I’m pretty sure I won—I built Mt Spectacular and obviously, it was very spectacular). Marcy named the village after Kimochaebi, the Potty God. You can’t really see it in the pictures, but it was pretty awesome. Next we’re off to Mt. St. Helens. Squeakers.
