Day 20

Forks, WA—Last night we stayed at a cool place with another beach, and we had fun running back and forth through the beach. All the pictures are from that. Then today we entered Forks, or “The Twilight Zone”. It was very weird. We went to a laundry place to do our laundry. Twilight was everywhere. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a pretty good series, but it’s been done to death and there are much better books out there. But moving on, we left mom there to do our slavework and went to go eat and grocery shop. We went in and there was a little Twilight shop. We went to eat and there were Jacob and Edward sandwiches. There was also Jacob’s Java and Bella’s Brew coffee available for $4.95. How exciting. We got milk and doughnuts and left the store. We ate and Jake and I went back to get more bottled milk because it was really good.

Later we came up with little nicknames for each other. Jonas is our wittle Rabid Sponge Kitten. Jake is our orange little Mooster Poptart. I, (Marcy) am our Bird Muffin! Mom is the Chocolate Covered Buttercup. Father dearest is our Squiggly Poodle. He says he would rather be Squiggly Butt and insists that a law should be made where every sentence ends in butt. He started talking to himself and ending his words in butt. Here’s some REAL examples: “Ahhh, we’re all going to crash . . . BUTT.” “Look at those ferns! BUTT.” “That makes no sense . . . BUTT.” And “Unforgettable . . . BUTT.”. Ah, the memories.
