I have not blogged about our trusty traveling companion, iRV, yet. For a squeaking, rattling, thirsty, obnoxious billboard, I’ve got to admit that he has done well. We have taken him places that I would be worried about taking my car, and so far he has made it through. From the desert to the mountains to a crowded ferry, iRV has been steady. If I had to do it all over again, I think I would probably choose iRV or one of his siblings again. It has been very convenient traveling. This trip could have been done in a minivan and staying in motels but I think it would have been more expensive in the long run, with less comfortable traveling. While my kids were hoping for some experiences like in the movie “RV,” I am happy to not have had the septic geyser yet.
