Crescent Lake, WA—IT IS OFFICIALLY THREE WEEKS. HOOPLAH! Seven days before we are back in boring Pennsylvania (Ha, just kidding). We stayed at Crescent Lake Resort, sort of in Olympic National Park. The lake was really clear and blue, you could see to the bottom. Last night when we arrived Marcy, Jonas, and I went down to the lake to wade and ended up getting in. I didn’t want to get in, but was the victim of torturous peer pressure. It was REALLY cold. And I wasn’t even in a bathing suit. Ew. Jonas also pushed Marcy into the water like five times. This morning we rented a boat for an hour, and boy was that nerve-wracking. Being able to see the bottom of the lake is not always a good thing. And there were waves that rocked the boat (HA I’m on a boat) and the oars were old and kept falling out of their little socket things. Also, Marcy and my life jackets were so tight that whenever we inhaled, they threatened to strangle us. And the lady working in the office had a voice deeper than mine. She was very scary.
