Day 4.2

There was a huge great dane once we got back from our hike. It was very playful and loved to fetch, so Jonas catered to its every whim. First, he began with normal sized twigs and pine cones. The dog eagerly fetched each stick and brought them back bouncily. This graduated into bigger logs that normal people would use for firewood. The dog had no trouble, however, fitting it in his mouth. We tried to wrestle the log away, but the dog held tight. Jonas, hatching a brilliant idea, went over to the gigantic stumps we used the previous night to sit on. He rolled it on its side, and the dog was immediately all over it. He began to gnaw on it like there was no tomorrow and completely ripped off half of it. It was quite entertaining to watch. Dad jokingly suggested that Jonas hug a tree to see what the dog does, but it wasn't our dog so we didn't.
