Day 9

Mesa Verde, CO—Mesa Verde is pretty neat. It’s 7,000 something feet in elevation, and so far I’ve had three or four nosebleeds, but other than that it’s a lot of fun. This morning we went on an hour hike to Cliff Palace, a Pueblan village in the cliffs. Our ranger, Sara, (I secretly called her Ladything Sara) was pretty amazing—she really knew her facts and we learned a lot and it was so educational!!

This morning was Father’s Day, so Marcy and Mom made pancakes for breakfast and Marcy and I presented him with our gift bag. We wanted to use tissue paper, but we didn’t have any so we used a pair of Marcy’s striped pink pants.

Next we’re headed towards the Grand Canyon. EEE.
